Whenever I speak to my dear Muslim friends, they are always telling me all the things Allah CANNOT do!!
Allah CANNOT speak for himself - he has to get angels to speak for him.
Allah CANNOT meet with Muhammad - he has to get Jibril to speak for him.
Allah CANNOT show himself to human beings.
Allah CANNOT contain himself in order to visit us.
Allah CANNOT become a human being.
Allah CANNOT do any of the many impossible things that the awesome God of the Bible can do.
Allah CANNOT find a way to die for us... the way that the glorious God of the Bible did.
Always we hear "Allah CANNOT..." whereas with the one God who is Father, Son & Spirit we always say, "this God CAN!!"
With the Trinity, NOTHING is impossible - with Allah, many, many things are impossible.
It is impossible for God to be seen by human beings - Yes! So He found a way to do it!
It is impossible for God to speak to human beings - Yes! So He found a way to do it!
It is impossible for God to become a human being - Yes! So He found a way to do it!
It is impossible for God to die! Yes, it is impossible - so He found a way to do it!
With Allah, it is always humans and angels who do all the speaking and serving, the fighting and acting.
With the Trinity, the Living God acts, speaks, serves, fights and shows up in wonderful, impossible, glorious ways... all the way through the Bible!
Think how God the Son was sent to wrestle with Jacob in that wonderful encounter - Genesis 32:22-32
Think how God the Son was sent to meet Abraham - and had His feet washed by Abraham and shared a meal with Abraham - Genesis 18:1-8
Think how God the Son was sent to rescue His people from slavery in Egypt - and personally led them across the Red Sea and through the wilderness, travelling with them!
Think how God the Son was sent to fight for His people against the Assyrian army - 2 Kings 19:35-37
Think how God the Son was sent to become a human being in the womb of Mary, by the power of the Spirit - and how He lived a perfect human life and died a cursed human death so that we could have His perfect life and never face a cursed death.
Call on the Name of Jesus - and ask Him to reveal Himself to you.
If He can do impossible things, then put Him to the test - and ask Him to show Himself to you.
Dear Muslim friend, the LORD Jesus can appear to you in dreams and visions - easily.
He can do the impossible.
He can do the impossible to help you, save you and meet you.
He loves you and did those impossible, incredible things because He loves you so much.
God the Father loved the world so much that He sent God the Son so that you would not perish but share eternal life with Him. John 3:16.
