The god that conforms to the Monad of Neo-Platonism is the default god offered by Western religion - and that god is an empty, lifeless delusion.
It is full of attributes and empty of reality.
It is a god that pretends to be the Trinity - and some constantly try to dress the Monad up to look a bit like the Trinity!
It is a god that cannot be incarnate - and obviously cannot die and do the glorious work of redemption on the Cross.
It is a god that cannot have any real relations because it is trapped in a timeless, spaceless, emotionless moment
(Yes, it really is as ghastly as it sounds!)
Only the real and Living God of the Bible
can create the heavens and the earth;
rule over history;
and graciously join us in our exile in order to bring us home.
Only the God who is Father, Son & Spirit can share genuine fellowship with us.
Only this Biblical God, who does more than we can ask or imagine, draws from us adoring worship and eternal praise.
